Committee Mission

Bringing together women of diverse occupations to provide opportunities for professional and personal growth through networking, leadership development, peer-to-peer engagement, mentoring, and educational programs.

Signature Events

As part of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber, the Women’s Business Council hosts a variety of engaging programs to help connect women in our local business community. Some of these events include:

  • Women’s Summit: Featuring a speaker, lunch, networking, and breakout sessions for education and self-care, the Women's Summit aims to inspire women across the entire landscape of their professional careers and personal lives.

  • Tables of 8 Lunches: Topical lunchtime discussions led by community leaders at local restaurants. Seats are limited to eight women per table to foster engaging conversation.

  • High Tea Summer Social: The annual High Tea Summer Social provides a relaxed atmosphere of networking for local businesswomen.

  • Power of Women: Featuring a keynote speaker, this luncheon was created to inform, empower, and connect women in the Greater Williamsburg business community.

  • Networking Bingo: Twice a year, the Women's Business Council hosts bingo night with good food, drinks, and networking.
